You may recognize this beauty from my awesome 4th of July wedding. No, she’s not the bride, but she is a bridesmaid (and the sister of the bride – hence why they look so much alike). Alyse got in contact with me to do headshots and portraits a few weeks back and I definitely excited. I get pretty excited any time I’m going to work with anyone from their family actually. Alyse is funny, laid back, and has an easy laugh that makes for stunning pictures. Oh yeah, and she’s freaking beautiful! It’s like I just pushed the Easy Button from Staples or something.
She told me that she wanted to bring a few things for the photo shoot which is always fine by me. I tell people to do that all the time (especially when working with kids) and knew Alyse wouldn’t disappoint. And she didn’t. She brought part of her crazy collection of stuffed hippos (you hear me) and a sampling of her Alice in Wonderland bag collection. How awesome is that? I can’t stress enough how much I love it when a client decides to truly infuse the session with their personality. Sometimes it makes me so happy I giggle while I’m shooting. Ok, I lied. I always giggle when I’m shooting. Don’t really know why… Anyway, check out Alyse’s stuff!

And one more of my favorite of her hippos. They’re on a string, so if you pull them apart, the jiggle and wiggle their way back together and kiss. 
Oh, and ps, her awesome shirt (that you can’t see in the photos I chose to post) says “Talk Nerdy to Me” with a graphic of big-o glasses. I loved it!
