:: six months, office organization, & sneak peeks ::

Oh my goodness he’s cute! Even if I am biased here people, you have to admit, that is one stinkin’ cute kiddlette! It’s been an amazing 6 month journey so far. It’s really really hard to comprehend how much time has actually passed. It’s August people! How did that happen? So if you recall, I made a prediction here about Cameron’s stats for his 6 month checkup and I have to say I am proud I was so close (mostly because I was WAY off last time). He weighed in at 21 lbs. and 29.5 inches. Yeah. Holy cow. That puts him in the 97% percentiles (and 90th for weight) and at size of an average 12-14 month old. Guess I can up my cardio because I’ve got weight lifting covered. Eesh.

In other news, I successfully survived attacks of lurking Deceptacons (and more than a few dust mites) and re-did my office. For over a year I’ve had a nice, but very impractical glass desk. It’s great an all, but since it has no drawers and I have WAY too much stuff to only have a surface to put it all on, it was high time to change things up a bit. Continuing with my black and white damask theme, here are the results:

Shout out to my mom who free-handed the black damask designs on to the new desk. Awesome, right? And you may notice that I actually have my degree above my desk. Makes me feel all professional-y (except that if you’ve ever read the “beyond the camera” section on my website, you’ll know that my degree is in Music Business). But still… Special thanks again to my mom and my sister who both helped a ton with the mass re-do. My sister helped build bookshelves and disassemble the old desk and my mom helped me paint the new one and organize. The rock my world.

Also, I thought I’d post a quick sneak peek of today’s shoot with Sam, who will be swimming in the Taipei Deaf Olympics in a few weeks! PS people, she’s 16. And she came in 2nd place for the city championships. She’s seriously amazing!

Oh, and because he’s so stinkin’ cute (I say that a lot…) here’s a few more of Cam-man. He’s so used to mommy’s camera now that he always knows how to look right at it. Now he’s even starting to work it a little bit. Check out his model moves!
